About The Position

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and optimizing parts inventory accuracy across the dealership. This role plays a critical part in supporting sales, service, and accounting by ensuring inventory records align with physical stock, manufacturer requirements, and internal controls.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Basic understanding of accounting and inventory controls
• Ability to analyze problems and resolve discrepancies efficiently
• May require occasional lifting, walking inventory areas, and extended standing

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of Dealertrack/XTime
• Prior experience in automotive parts

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular physical inventories and cycle counts
• Managing special orders for on-going work in the shop
• Driving to different dealerships to pick up parts
• Checking in the stock order daily
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization at your station and throughout the parts department
