Inventory Control Specialist (Mid Shift)
About The Position
Strive Pharmacy is a personalized compounding pharmacy focused on providing individualized care. We are growing and seeking individuals who share our conviction for a more human approach to healthcare. This full-time position is based on-site in Mesa, Arizona, with a mid-shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for the daily operations that ensure inventory is accurate, organized, and available. This role involves hands-on tasks such as restocking, receiving deliveries, and maintaining workflow standards, requiring attention to detail, adaptability, and strong teamwork to support the Inventory Control Lead.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, stockroom management, or related field.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a box truck for inter-site travel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and high accuracy in record-keeping.
- Proven dependability, accountability, and ability to consistently follow established workflow standards.
- Effective communication skills with a track record of strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or custom compounding pharmacy inventory control.
- Proficiency with computer systems, inventory software, handheld scanners, and tools like Microsoft Office or Google Docs.
- Forklift certification is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform core inventory functions including restocking, receiving, labeling, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies across facilities.
- Assist with regular cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical stock reconciliations to guarantee accurate inventory counts.
- Proactively identify and report discrepancies, adhering strictly to corrective actions, to support overall inventory accuracy.
- Maintain full compliance with internal workflow policies, quality control standards, and company guidelines.
- Assist pharmacists, leadership, and operational departments with inventory-related requests and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Uphold clean, organized, safe, and fully compliant work environments at all locations.
