About The Position

The Inventory Control Specialist is an independent, flexible, motivated, and results-oriented individual committed to providing outstanding customer experiences that drive sales. This is a data-driven and highly analytical role focused on maintaining item and financial accuracy within the store network. Responsibilities include keeping stockrooms and the sales floor organized, re-stocked, and tidy, completing all inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed, and assisting the team with inventory control initiatives.

Solid math, verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers.
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head.
Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

Work in the eye of the storm, keeping the stockrooms and sales floor organized, re-stocked and tidy as shoppers hunt for the great deals they’re looking for
Be the keeper of the merchandise, completing all inventory processes and making sure merchandise is properly checked in and is accurately ticketed
Assist the team with inventory control initiatives
