About The Position

The Inventory Control Specialist will maintain the organization's inventory and supplies used in the Operation while maintaining accurate records of all procurements. This is an off-shift position.

Requirements

• Problem solving and ability to coordinate inventory control program.
• Demonstrated ability to work within plans set forth by Purchasing and Operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations and priorities.
• Computer skills including spreadsheet and production planning and tracking applications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• At least 1 year of inventory control, warehouse or supply store experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse facility.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limits as inventory dwindles.
• Supply all plant employees with the required supplies.
• Assess inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
• Gather and build supply orders for other facilities.
• Perform cycle counts of supply store items to track inventory.
• Maintain supply store inventory levels and replenish storage areas as needed.
• Coordinate with delivery drivers on incoming shipments.
• Work closely with the Purchasing department to maintain proper supply levels and coordinate supplier lists.
• Other duties as assigned.
