The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for analyzing inventory levels, transactions, and variances to identify trends and discrepancies. This role supports inventory flow processes, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping, to enhance efficiency and accuracy. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of inventory processes with production and supply chain operations, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure compliance with inventory control policies. Additionally, the role involves preparing inventory reports, participating in audits, and utilizing ERP/WMS systems for tracking and reporting. A key part of the role is executing and supporting cycle counting programs, investigating discrepancies, conducting root cause analysis, and assisting with physical inventories. The specialist will also reconcile inventory records for accurate financial reporting and provide guidance on inventory control procedures and safety requirements. Tracking and reporting key inventory control KPIs, such as inventory accuracy and cycle count completion rates, and supporting initiatives to achieve performance targets are also essential functions.
