About The Position

Up North Plastics is currently seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our Shipping department on our 10PM-6AM Shift. Up North Plastics produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction films, and geomembrane liners. Up North Plastics is also the most technologically advanced and largest recycler and compounder of polyethylene in the world.

Requirements

Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Exceptional attention to detail, and accurately document information.
Excellent organizational skills.
Basic math skills are needed.
Strong computer literacy.
Strong communication and reading skills.
Need to count correctly and accurately.

Responsibilities

Accurately monitor and store inventory.
Resolve discrepancies in inventories using provided resources and computers.
Process orders and all associated documents.
Process transfer orders.
Stage material.
Process return of material.
Perform cycle counts in a timely manner to ensure timely and accurate accounting of materials.
Receive, unpack, and deliver goods.
Process and document returns as required following established procedures.
Adjust errors in the system if necessary.
