Role Summary: Reporting to the Production Manager, the Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of Inventory Control to ensure financial accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

2 years’ experience in inventory control
Associates degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; strong analytical skills; strong problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking skills; ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Strong communication skills; strong customer focus
Ability to see/sit/stand/walk/talk and hear
Ability to lift/move/carry up to 50lbs
Ability to stand for 8 hours a day
Ability to climb stairs and step ladders, bend, stoop, crouch, and kneel
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

3+ years’ experience in inventory control
working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
previous training in use of forklift or hand truck

Responsibilities

Develop and manage inventory counting and processes to maintain 100% inventory accuracy
Develop policies and procedures surrounding the maintenance or proper inventory levels.
Responsible for Bill of Material maintenance of receivables
Create Work Orders for all projects through production process
Invoicing and close out of project materials
Forecasting, procurement, and monitoring of receiving of all LJ Relay materials to support production demands
Coordinate shipping activities and logistical execution of product deliveries.
Coordinate inventory counts with the assistance of the Material Coordinators
Prepare inventory reconciliations and report findings to management
Investigate all inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
Work closely with various departments to ensure efficient workflow of inventory
Analyze inventory trends and report replenishment needs and obsolete or slow moving inventory to management
Oversee all inventory transfers from start to finish, including internal inventory moves as well as inventory moving off-site
Operate pallet jacks to lift and transport material
Other duties as assigned
