Role Summary: Reporting to the Production Manager, the Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of Inventory Control to ensure financial accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience in inventory control
  • Associates degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; strong analytical skills; strong problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking skills; ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong communication skills; strong customer focus
  • Ability to see/sit/stand/walk/talk and hear
  • Ability to lift/move/carry up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours a day
  • Ability to climb stairs and step ladders, bend, stoop, crouch, and kneel
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years’ experience in inventory control
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
  • previous training in use of forklift or hand truck

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage inventory counting and processes to maintain 100% inventory accuracy
  • Develop policies and procedures surrounding the maintenance or proper inventory levels.
  • Responsible for Bill of Material maintenance of receivables
  • Create Work Orders for all projects through production process
  • Invoicing and close out of project materials
  • Forecasting, procurement, and monitoring of receiving of all LJ Relay materials to support production demands
  • Coordinate shipping activities and logistical execution of product deliveries.
  • Coordinate inventory counts with the assistance of the Material Coordinators
  • Prepare inventory reconciliations and report findings to management
  • Investigate all inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Work closely with various departments to ensure efficient workflow of inventory
  • Analyze inventory trends and report replenishment needs and obsolete or slow moving inventory to management
  • Oversee all inventory transfers from start to finish, including internal inventory moves as well as inventory moving off-site
  • Operate pallet jacks to lift and transport material
  • Other duties as assigned
