About The Position
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels by performing regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring inventory integrity within the warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our material handling operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint, outlook, teams)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred.
- Experience with ERP or Inventory Management programs preferred.
- Familiarity with barcode scanners and RF devised a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts on assigned inventory locations.
- Identify, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
- Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams to correct issues.
- Ensure proper labeling and organization of inventory.
- Assist with physical inventory counts as needed.
- Receiving and shipping support: Unpack, count, verify incoming shipment and assist with outgoing orders as needed.
- Follow company safety and operational procedures.
