About The Position
Poly-America, L.P. is currently seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our Shipping/Receiving department. Poly-America produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction films, and geomembrane liners. Poly-America is also the most technologically advanced and largest recycler and compounder of polyethylene in the world.
Requirements
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control
- Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Comfortable working in outside and non-climate controlled work environments
- Exceptional attention to detail, and accurately document information
- Excellent organizational skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to count correctly and accurately
- Knowledge of unit of measurement conversion
- Successfully passing a drug screen

Responsibilities
- Processing orders and all associated documents
- Processing transfer orders
- Staging of material
- Return of material
- Performing cycle counts in a timely manner to ensure timely and accurate accounting of materials
- Receiving, unpacking, and delivering goods
- Processing and documenting returns as required following established procedures
- Adjusting errors in the system if necessary
- Driving a bike or forklift from building to building
- Monitoring and storing inventory accurately
- Resolving discrepancies in inventories using provided resources
