Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of total work experience
  • 1 year of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Manage inventory procedures and transactions on a daily basis.
  • Document inventory adjustments and obtain approvals in accordance with the company's Level of Authority (LOA).
  • Review historical inventory transactions to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor, review, and analyze weekly inventory trends and discuss variations with appropriate staff members.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy within the Fluke x5 CMMS system.
  • Communicate cycle count findings, discrepancies, and inventory issues to management and warehouse team members.
  • Inspect warehouse racks for damage and overall organization.
  • Dispose of rejected, surplus, obsolete, and scrap materials.
  • Ensure disposal of hazardous waste complies with all applicable regulations, and documentation requirements is given to EHS.
  • Coordinate with lab personnel to ensure shipping and receiving of components to support testing.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles.
  • Inspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing materials, parts, and assemblies to specifications and blueprints following standard shop practices and special instructions.
  • Perform specific calibrations, tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.
  • Assist in determining controls necessary to maintain consistent quality levels.
  • Assist in directing repairs and corrective actions for non-conforming materials.
  • Generate inspection reports and analysis.
  • Ship and receive parts and equipment.
  • Manage UPS shipping activities.
  • Coordinate with laboratory personnel to support the shipment and receipt of testing components.
  • Ensure timely service and support for internal and external customers.
  • Train employees on day-to-day inventory and warehouse procedures.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain 5S organizational principles throughout the warehouse and inventory areas.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness standards.
  • Ensure all stored materials comply with Daikin safety requirements, including clearance from emergency exits, fire extinguishers, electrical panels, and other EHS requirements.
