Reporting to the Program Manager, the Inventory Control Manager arranges and accelerates flow of equipment, materials, parts, assemblies, and other materials according to schedules or priorities, compiles and keeps manual or computerized records, checks schedules and related information, and confers with others to determine requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material on the Test Operations Support Services (TOSS) contract. This position is located in Fallbrook, CA.

Requirements

  • An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • HS Diploma required.
  • Ten (10) years of experience providing practical working knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies and guidelines in a U.S. Navy or similar DoD environment.
  • Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Has experience using Asset Panda.
  • Has experience using Consolidated Memorandum Report (CMR).
  • Military experience with a supply background.

Responsibilities

  • Provides inventory control services for all of ESED’s (Expeditionary Systems Engineering Division) test operations assets, consumables, and materials/assets.
  • Performs requisition tracking and processes transactions.
  • Receives, inspects, transports and stores assets.
  • Maintains inventory systems and accountable records for test articles, equipment, materials, consumables, and weapons.
  • Maintains and tracks ESED’s HAZAMAT to include an Authorized User List (AUL).
  • Ensures Material Data Sheets are available for all HAZMAT material and that requested material meets current OSHA and environmental standards.
  • Bid and proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
