About The Position

RJW Logistics Group is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring adequate inventory levels align with inventory cycles and the company's philosophy. The Inventory Control Manager will conduct daily inventory analysis, implement control procedures, coordinate physical counts, and manage a team. This position reports to the General Manager of Warehousing.

Requirements

  • Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and speak English.
  • 5-10 years of Warehouse Management experience.
  • Ability to report/track trending and historical data.
  • Must have strong business writing and case analysis skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel Required
  • Inventory Planning Experience Required
  • Basic knowledge of Access, data entry and general computer abilities.
  • Experience in warehouse safety and safety training.

  • 3PL Experience a Plus.
  • Synapse WMS Experience a Plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain physical inventory of external customers.
  • Communicate with customer representatives regarding inventory issues, including the existence, cause, and resolution of inventory variances.
  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures relating to inventory control, ensuring warehouse inventory accuracy and analyzing product flow.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations (FDA & AIB) and maintain AIB policies and procedures.
  • Perform all recall and quality holds for operations, assigning and releasing holds based on feedback from QA or QRC.
  • Responsible for employee development through training on policy and procedures.
  • Create a cohesive organization by keeping lines of communication open.
  • Set up warehouses, including pick fronts, storage, allocations, and chaining.
  • Recognize signs of operational problems and provide detailed action steps for correction.
  • Develop and consistently execute the cycle count program to ensure inventory and location accuracy, including aisle audits, empty slot reports, and special counts for high-value items.
  • Train production management and QA personnel on proper methods for resolving quality, production, and inventory-related issues in the site’s warehouse management system.
  • Labor Planning.
  • Communicate inventory issues with the Operations Manager, Shift Managers, and Shift Supervisors.
  • Handle special project requests from clients.
  • Generate and distribute weekly reports summarizing inventory accuracy through cycle counts.
  • Manage Peco & Chep pallets.
