About The Position

Flex is seeking an Inventory Control Management Co-Op for Fall 2026 at its Orangeburg, SC site. This role will support inventory initiatives, production, material planning, and reporting under the guidance of the Inventory Control Manager. The co-op student will gain experience in material and production planning, ERP workflows, process documentation, report preparation, and data analysis within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student pursuing a bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration or Supply Chain (undergrad students only).
• Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for the Fall school semester.
• Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited university.
• 3.0 minimum GPA.
• Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Highly collaborative, creative, and excellent communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn new processes and tools.

Nice To Haves

• Flowchart knowledge is a plus!
• Previous internship, co-op, and/or project experiences a plus!

Responsibilities

• Learn the basics of material and production planning, including ERP and planning workflows.
• Support process mapping and documentation for planner activities.
• Support preparation of daily/weekly production, inventory, and material reports.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing projects or improvement initiatives.
• Provide ad-hoc support during month-end activities and planner tasks as needed.
• Contribute to data gathering for inventory analysis, trends, and dashboards.
