NSG Group/Pilkington North America is seeking an Inventory Control Lead for the 1st shift. Since becoming part of the Nippon Sheet Glass Group (NSG) in June of 2006, NSG Group is one of the world's largest glassmakers, manufactures, and distributes automotive and flat glass for the automotive and building industries. This role assists the inventory & support manager and inventory supervisor with the daily operations of the inventory department, handles shift communications, and may run the shift in the absence of the supervisor. The lead will also complete safety and incident investigation/reporting, request necessary supplies or tools, and assist with training temporary and full-time employees on inventory processes. They will act as a communications liaison between shift employees and the shift supervisor, attend off-shift meetings and training, and monitor cycle count progress daily to ensure timely completion. The role also involves managing emails and meetings, maintaining Opti Aim processes and inventory, managing the inbound damages inspection process, maintaining the open pick damages disposal process, and managing the transient location management process. Additionally, the lead will ensure proper SAP inventory adjustment codes are utilized, investigate lost items, document, and attempt recovery, complete biweekly accessories perishable reports, and various other assigned reports and duties.
