The Inventory Control Lead is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers concerned with inventorying materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse, or yard. This role involves maintaining the layout of storage areas, reviewing records for accuracy, scheduling inventories, preparing composite reports, and tracing inventory discrepancies to determine root causes and recommend solutions. The lead will also issue instructions, assign duties, and ensure work conforms to policies and procedures. Travel to assist other facilities may be required, necessitating reliable transportation.
