BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Inventory Control Forklift Driver to support the Asset Protection Supervisor in maintaining workflow and count processes. This role involves operating a forklift and collaborating with the inventory control team to ensure an exceptional member shopping experience. Responsibilities include conducting and organizing inventory counts, sorting damaged and RTV (Return to Vendor) items, reducing salvage, obtaining return authorizations from vendors, and re-wrapping sellable merchandise. The position also requires cross-functional work within departments to complete merchandise counts and inventory control tasks. Team members are expected to carry out assigned functions, support club policies, and act with honesty and integrity, prioritizing the member experience and ensuring a safe, positive, and inclusive environment. A commitment to speed, agility, innovation, and a friendly attitude is essential. Members are to be provided with service excellence, and concerns should be resolved promptly. The role contributes to maintaining GOLD Member Standards and GOLD Club Standards daily, ensuring all items are stocked, promotional plans are executed, signage is accurate, and the club is clean and organized. Understanding departmental performance reporting and the impact of consistent execution on the business is also key.
