About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and computer records of material, product, and equipment locations and quantities. The Inventory Control / Distribution Expeditor ensures adherence to proper stock rotation guidelines and processes in-house and customer orders, including backorders, according to specifications and plant procedures. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining accurate and current outboard information.

Requirements

• Perform tasks designed to maintain documentation/computer records that reflect accurate location and quantity of materials, products and equipment.
• Ensure company's guidelines on proper stock rotation are followed.
• Ensure in-house orders, customer orders and backorders are processed according to customer specifications and plant procedures.
• Ensure outboard information maintenance is accurate and current.
• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
• Extremely Detail Oriented
• Ability to handle ever changing, multiple priorities.
• Team Player
• High School Diploma / GED or Equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Oracle, Excel, Precision or similar transportation software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, including releasing Hots, backordering, and working holds.
• Conduct material variance investigations and support the order picking process.
• Assist with inventory control, including discrepancies and physical inventory counts.
• Allocate product for stock and export shipping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
