Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 1 year of inventory control experience.
Strong computer skills including MS Office.
Accurate data entry skills.
Technical orientation.

Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and multi-task on a daily basis.

Visual Acuity: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

Responsibilities

Maintains the inventory database and ensures daily inventory levels meet distribution and operational needs.
Enters data into inventory database about quantities of issued and transferred parts and inventory.
Resolves inventory shortage discrepancies.
Receives manufactured parts into stock and issues them out to upcoming jobs.
Consolidates manufactured parts to maximize shelf space.
Assists in daily tasks to assure productivity efficiency.
Identifies parts through the use of SAP and drawings.
Audits locations for part and count for accuracy (i.e., work order and 3-Stage put away checks).
Investigates missing stock parts needed for work orders and sales orders.
Monitors and keeps an updated shortage list available for the Inventory Management team.
Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
