Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of inventory control experience.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
  • Technical orientation.

  • Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
  • Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.

  • Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
  • Standing: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.

  • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound.
  • Visual Acuity: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the inventory database and ensures daily inventory levels meet distribution and operational needs.
  • Enters data into inventory database about quantities of issued and transferred parts and inventory.
  • Resolves inventory shortage discrepancies.
  • Receives manufactured parts into stock and issues them out to upcoming jobs.
  • Consolidates manufactured parts to maximize shelf space.
  • Assists in daily tasks to assure productivity efficiency.
  • Identifies parts through the use of SAP and drawings.
  • Audits locations for part and count for accuracy (i.e., work order and 3-Stage put away checks).
  • Investigates missing stock parts needed for work orders and sales orders.
  • Monitors and keeps an updated shortage list available for the Inventory Management team.
  • Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
  • Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
