About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring an Inventory Control Coordinator for its 1st shift (7 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday). This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy within the operation. The Inventory Control Coordinator will perform various inventory-related tasks, including cycle counts, validations, adjustments, audits, discrepancy resolution, and consolidation. They will also support inbound and outbound inventory activities and act as a liaison between customer support, suppliers, and customer management regarding inventory issues. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-3 years Warehousing experience; preferably with barcode system
  • Working experience with cycle count and inventory control
  • Knowledge of and experience with inventory systems and/or Topex
  • Working knowledge of SAP inventory
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data entry, sorting, filtering, and basic reporting functions.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and communicate effectively with associates, leadership, customers, and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Must be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse responsibilities throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior inventory control, inventory management, or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification or previous material handling equipment experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Performing cycle counts, inventory validations, inventory adjustments, location audits, serial audits, discrepancy resolution, inventory consolidation, and supporting inbound and outbound inventory activities to maintain inventory accuracy throughout the operation.
  • Reconcile and data entry into customer’s system of record and the WM System.
  • Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis using excel spreadsheets.
  • Monitor and key data for several in-transit buckets within SAP for finance department reporting.
  • Compile and maintain cycle count data for management reports to customer.
  • Monitor failed transactions and physically reconcile discrepancies.
  • Coordinate between customer support, suppliers and customer on inventory issues for resolution.
  • Investigate any/all shrinkage of inventory and advise departmental manager.
