About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk. The role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying inbound and outbound orders and ensuring inventory entries and adjustments are accurately reflected in the warehouse management system. The position involves inventory management procedures, physical inventory coordination, inventory adjustments, and routine clerical work.

This is a day-shift position scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime required as needed. Pay is $20.35 per hour. The position is onsite.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience operating a clamp or forklift.
• At least 6 months of inventory control experience, including cycle counting, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, and monitoring inventory levels.
• At least 6 months of experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) or a similar system such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, or SAP.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of warehousing and inventory experience is preferred.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust the system as necessary.
• Accurately adjust inventory for overages, shortages, defective products, and damaged products.
• Perform routine clerical assignments, including filing invoices and maintaining records.
• Verify inbound and outbound orders to help maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure inventory entries and adjustments are accurately reflected in the warehouse management system.
