About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk. In this role, you will partner with the supervisor and management to conduct cycle counts, manage inventory systems, and assist in shipping and receiving as needed. You will also assist with the handling and shipment of hazardous waste and materials. All candidates must be at least 21 years old and required to wear safety shoes, a bump cap, safety glasses, and long sleeves in the warehouse. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders and ensuring that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year working consistently with WMS or Inventory Systems
• A minimum of 1 year doing inventory, cycle counting, or auditing in a warehouse setting
• Must be at least 21 years old
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with Hazardous Materials
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Partnering with the supervisor and management to conduct cycle counts
• Managing inventory systems
• Work in shipping & receiving as needed
• Assist with the handling and shipment of hazardous waste and materials
• Maintain inventory records
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary
• Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records
