About The Position

The Inventory Control Clerk position is responsible for assisting with various functions related to inventory management, including re-working of goods, return authorizations, cycle-count program, customer requests, error file management, adjustment authorizations, Quality Control audits, and Morales Project functionalities. This role involves interaction with multiple departments such as Production, Finance, Quality Control, Operations, and Warehouse personnel, as well as vendors, management, and supervision across different facilities. The position requires the ability to run BPCS and WMS reports, perform system transactions, verify physical counts against system data, and research inventory variances to identify root causes. Responsibilities also include conducting warehouse searches for missing product, assisting in the re-work area, supporting the Morales Project by handling materials and generating documentation, resolving Return Authorization issues, and systematically relocating products to optimize warehouse space. Additionally, the role involves performing routine maintenance on equipment, operating equipment safely, conducting physical inventories, maintaining a clean work area, assisting with warehouse security, adhering to safety policies and cGMPs, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Consistently self-driven and dependable.
  • Intermediate to complex window-based PC software knowledge.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Must become forklift certified.
  • 3-5 years Warehouse forklift operative experience.
  • Capable of performing intermediate to complex math equations repetitively.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Legible handwriting.

Responsibilities

  • Run BPCS and WMS reports and perform basic to complex system transactions.
  • Print and verify daily counts, comparing physical item/lot/quantity combinations with system data and documenting all information.
  • Research daily inventory variances in BPCS/WMS to resolve issues and find root causes, including conducting full warehouse searches for missing product.
  • Assist in the re-work area by re-boxing, re-labeling, re-packing, re-taping, or consolidating pallets/cases.
  • Work with Morales Project team members to unload totes, stage raw material, produce Julian date/Tickets for Morales Operation, and receive FG.
  • Resolve Return Authorization issues by working directly with operations, customers, and Customer Service representatives.
  • Physically and systematically relocate product as directed by Supervisor to efficiently utilize available warehouse space.
  • Inspect and perform routine maintenance daily.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct random physical inventories as required.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area.
  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
  • Conduct operations in a manner consistent with Company Safety policies.
  • Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required.
  • Adhere to all Company Safety work rules, policies, procedures and cGMPs.
  • Consistently pass required forklift testing and safety training.
  • Perform various tasks when necessary, using proper safety equipment and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
