About The Position

Tate's Bake Shop is looking for an Inventory Control Clerk to join the team at the Shirley location! The Inventory Control Clerk will keep track of the goods and supplies in the warehouse and manage order to facilitate sales or production.

Requirements

High School Diploma required.
1+ year in similar role
Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain focus while performing a task.
Must be able to work around moving equipment.
Ability to lift, push, and pull 35 lbs.
Must be able to wear safety toe shoes for entire shift.
Must be able to sit during entire work shift of 7+ hours (not including rest and meal periods).
Ability to communicate in English to effectively understand and complete work-related documents, safety protocols, and instructions.

Responsibilities

Maintains and updates required inventory levels for goods and products.
Label counts -Pine Street.
Inventory Transfer packaging/GMG.
Packaging and Raw Material counts at Pine Street.
Assist with production posting issues related to paperwork, recipes, etc.
Daily pickup of production documents from manufacturing facility.
Receiving, verification and scanning documents.
Assist with 3PL/EM EOM inventory.
Weekly building inspections to ensure good general maintenance, cleanliness, and QA compliance.
Check pest control trap placements and signage.
Frozen goods and packaging counts.
Fire extinguishers and eyewash stations check -Monthly.
Assist with holiday frozen inventory for transfers, counts, inventory reconciliation, other.
Assist in Internal/External audits.
Responsible for all applicable Company procedures and policies, including Mondelez Quality Policies.
Responsible to ensure compliance with FDA, SQF, New York State and other regulatory requirements, to assure food safety & quality.
Other related duties as assigned.
