About The Position

This role is a valuable part of our Materials Management and Warehousing team, which is committed to achieving our mission of delivering innovative diagnostic solutions to patients. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with key stakeholders in Production, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain. Together, you will ensure the seamless, safe, and accurate flow of materials that powers our daily operations and administrative functions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Four (4) years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment performing various warehousing procedures utilizing material handling equipment preferred (experience in an FDA-regulated environment is highly preferred).
  • Must possess a current, valid California driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
  • Strong technical warehouse skills, including a working knowledge of computerized inventory control systems (ERP), intermediate computer skills (word processing/spreadsheets), and familiarity with BOMs, JIT, and FIFO concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and mathematical abilities, with the analytical skills and judgment required to thoroughly resolve inventory discrepancies and think both tactically and strategically.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills, allowing you to remain self-directed, conscientious, and adaptable in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read and analyze complex documents, communicate effectively in writing and orally, and establish constructive working relationships.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an FDA-regulated environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Stage and prepare materials accurately for production work orders, including pulling, transporting between departments, and transacting issued and returned items in the inventory control system.
  • Manage material transport and storage throughout the warehouse, ensuring released products are placed in proper temperatures and quarantined or non-conforming items are immediately isolated.
  • Drive company vehicles safely between buildings to make local deliveries, which includes the physical loading and unloading of materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by performing transactions in the computerized ERP system and assisting with the daily cycle count program to reconcile discrepancies under the guidance of the Warehouse Lead.
  • Monitor and replenish Kanban levels across all facilities, proactively notifying appropriate parties whenever items cannot be replenished.
  • Operate material handling equipment—including pallet racks, hand trucks, and motorized lifts—in a safe manner according to their designed functions.
  • Ensure strict regulatory and safety compliance by adhering to all SOPs, GMP, and SOX guidelines, as well as federal and state regulations for hazardous and infectious substances.
