Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
  • Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
  • Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, auditing, or inventory reconciliation in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency using inventory management, ERP, or sales order systems (e.g., Oracle or similar software).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies accurately.
  • Ability to analyze inventory data, maintain accurate records, and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, product tracking, and inventory movement.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely; certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction or industrial products is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Recording and maintaining control of all inventory items purchased and produced.
  • Receiving product from vendors for quality control.
  • Maintaining the daily schedule of audits.
  • Managing inventory reports.
  • Ensuring the overall accuracy of the warehouse inventory.
  • Auditing inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
  • Researching and resolving all key issues, adjustments, and discrepancies, ensuring compliance with established internal control procedures.
  • Assisting in maintaining inventory accuracy, completing follow-up to all previous inventory adjustments, and reviewing cycle counts.
  • Maintaining time control tables consistent with base tables, keys, and reviewing allocations.
  • Receiving products from vendors to check for quality and communicating potential quality issues to buyers.
  • Maintaining quality control and inventory control manuals.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment by following safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
