About The Position

White Cap is hiring an Inventory Control Associate to help maintain accurate inventory and support daily order processing. The role audits inventory, researches and resolves discrepancies, and helps ensure compliance with internal control procedures. It also involves receiving vendor products for quality checks, communicating potential quality issues to buyers, and maintaining quality and inventory control documentation. The position requires lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and following company safety policies and procedures. Generally, candidates have 2–5 years of experience.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve issues, adjustments, and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Follow up on previous inventory adjustments.
• Complete and review cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key, and review allocations.
• Receive products from vendors and check them for quality.
• Communicate potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintain quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
