Inventory Control Assistant (1st Shift)
About The Position
This role is responsible for warehouse inventory maintenance and reconciliation on a daily basis. The Inventory Control Assistant will count all full goods and raw materials in the warehouse, research and reconcile daily inventory variances, and ensure accuracy with the SAP computer system for daily, monthly, and annual inventory counts. The position also involves identifying and reporting close-dated product and requires flexibility to cross-train across various inventory functions. Collaboration with planners, shipping and receiving, and production partners is essential.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- 0-3 years warehouse/inventory experience required.
- Strong computer and database skills.
- Strong math skills.
- Ability to read and follow directions.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Prior auditing experience preferred.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
- SAP knowledge and preferred.
Responsibilities
- Count all full goods and raw materials in the warehouse on a daily basis, manually or using a handheld scanner.
- Research and reconcile daily inventory variances.
- Reconcile the daily, monthly, and annual inventory to the SAP computer system.
- Identify and report close dated product.
- Cross train across inventory functions including, but not limited to, raw materials, QI holds, and SAP to Basis.
- Collaboratively work with planners, shipping and receiving, and production partners.
