About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting various inventory control functions within environmentally controlled areas ranging from 55 degrees to -10 degrees Fahrenheit. The role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Proven problem solving abilities and analytical skills
• Effective organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
• Must have the ability to work independently
• Must have excellent mathematical skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with report writing database tools

Responsibilities

• Maintain dates in the Dry Grocery and Freezer
• Troubleshoot all special order problems from time of receipt
• Monitor special order returns, provide reporting and ensure quick returns
• Generate Weekly inventory Control Reports
• Correct product found in wrong locations
• Check on buyer requests
• Perform cycle counts in all Departments
• Make corrections
• Add or delete any surplus locations
• Perform surplus checks
• Perform additional duties as assigned
