About The Position
This role is responsible for warehouse inventory maintenance and reconciliation on a daily basis. The Inventory Control Assistant will perform various duties to ensure accurate inventory records and support warehouse operations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- 0-3 years warehouse/inventory experience required.
- Strong computer and database skills.
- Strong math skills.
- Ability to read and follow directions.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Prior auditing experience preferred.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
- SAP knowledge and preferred.
Responsibilities
- Count all full goods and raw materials in the warehouse on a daily basis, manually or using a handheld scanner.
- Research and reconcile daily inventory variances.
- Reconcile the daily, monthly, and annual inventory to the SAP computer system.
- Identify and report close dated product.
- Cross train across inventory functions including, but not limited to, raw materials, QI holds, and SAP to Basis.
- Collaboratively work with planners, shipping and receiving, and production partners.
