About The Position

Turner's Outdoorsman is looking for an Inventory Manager. The Inventory Control and Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire inventory management and supply chain process to ensure seamless operations and cost efficiency. This role involves developing strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels, reduce waste, and improve order fulfillment accuracy across multiple distribution channels. The manager will collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to forecast demand, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate timely deliveries. A key outcome of this position is to enhance supply chain visibility and responsiveness, enabling the organization to meet customer expectations while minimizing operational costs. Ultimately, this role drives continuous improvement initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence within the supply chain function.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control and supply chain management roles.
  • Proven experience with inventory management systems (IMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and supplier relationships.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to work around firearms.

  • Familiarity with advanced supply chain technologies including demand planning software and warehouse automation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to maintain accurate stock levels and reduce discrepancies.
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain activities including procurement, warehousing, distribution, and logistics coordination.
  • Analyze inventory data and demand forecasts to optimize stock replenishment and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply chain issues promptly.
  • Lead and mentor a team of inventory and supply chain professionals to achieve departmental goals and improve performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and technology solutions to enhance supply chain operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to inventory and supply chain management.
