About The Position

This position serves as a clinical liaison between the Operating Rooms and the CSS offsite location to track and allocate sterilized instrumentation across the Enterprise. The role is responsible for procuring, maintaining, and standardizing instrument trays across the Enterprise. This position will be utilized 24/7 in multiple reprocessing sites across the Health System. The inventory control specialist promotes customer service and patient satisfaction through effective communication with Operating Room clinical operations and multiple sterile processing departments across the Medical Center. The role is responsible for ordering, procuring, and organizing all equipment and instruments required for surgeries and medical procedures on a global level to service the entire Enterprise. The inventory control specialist ensures the necessary sterilized supplies are available to be delivered to the point of use when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of relevant experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities
