About The Position

Quanex is looking for an Inventory Control Analyst to join our team located in St. Cloud, MN. As our Inventory Control Analyst, you'll be the go-to expert for inventory accuracy—leading cycle counts and physical inventories, supporting financial close activities, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with SOX requirements. Your work will directly support operational efficiency and business performance.

Requirements

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, specifically Excel with ability to do V-Lookups, conditional formatting, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly detail oriented
• Comfortable with prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Nice To Haves

• 2-year post-secondary education or equivalent related experience
• Inventory experience

Responsibilities

• Leading cycle counts and physical inventories
• Supporting financial close activities
• Processing invoices
• Ensuring compliance with SOX requirements
• Managing inventory levels
• Entering/managing purchase orders
• Entering/managing workorders
• Addressing product with no movement
• Monitoring SOX compliance, inventory controls, and related documentation
• Keeping proper personnel informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective inventory management
• Recording/coding invoices
• Generating and maintaining processes for all new and existing programs
