Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree (accounting / finance / business), 3+ years relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills
  • Solid analytical skills and accounting knowledge
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous SAP experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the stores and distribution centers in inventory processes.
  • Assist IT and Supply Chain with project requirements and implementation.
  • Play a key role in day-to-day operations within the inventory control department.
  • Assist on projects and perform user acceptance testing
  • Actively participate in period, quarter, and year-end accounting close process
  • Analyze and reconcile store inventories, cycle counts and inventory adjustments
  • Review and approve physical inventory results and chargebacks
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support Supply Chain and IT with issue resolution
  • Support the distribution center cycle count program, inventory sync process, and reporting
  • Analyze shrink related information and generate periodic reports for management
  • Assist with inventory control tasks related to review of damages, RTV issues and store transfers
  • Participate in the onboarding and training of new hires
  • Create and maintain inventory control training documentation, as needed
  • Collaborate with district managers, store managers and loss prevention
  • Act as a liaison with our third-party inventory providers – provide feedback and guidance
