About The Position

The Inventory Control Analyst role is responsible for analyzing inventory levels to ensure product availability and identity. This position requires familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within an MRP system. The analyst will identify and correct physical inventory and production data input errors using effective techniques. This role requires experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasks under limited supervision with a degree of creativity and latitude. We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support our inventory cycle count program, resolve material discrepancies, and ensure accurate ERP system reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to troubleshoot inventory issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of inventory control experience.
  • Experience using an ERP inventory module.
  • High degree of accuracy, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move frequently throughout the facility.
  • Occasional travel may occur; potential overseas travel.
  • Must adhere to all company policies and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and maintain inventory cycle count processes and documentation.
  • Verify ERP inventory data against physical stock and adjust discrepancies.
  • Investigate and report inventory variances and cycle count results.
  • Resolve production order material issues (BOM, routing, batch, WIP, COGI).
  • Partner closely with Quality and Purchasing on material receipts, scrap, and returns.
  • Assist stockroom with shipping, stocking, and packaging as needed.
