About The Position

This role supports the manufacturing operation by providing accurate and detailed inventory information, resolving discrepancies, and addressing delivery issues. The Inventory Control Analyst I participates in warehouse and inventory problem-solving, focusing on creating efficient teams to meet customer requirements. Responsibilities include preparing intercompany raw material shipments, performing part number changes, and maintaining SAP inventory records. The role also involves preparing draft work instructions, maintaining documentation for inventory accuracy and departmental goals, and assisting with special projects. Additionally, the analyst actively participates in cost reduction, continuous improvement, housekeeping, and team activities, and coordinates physical inventories of finished goods.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Familiar with Warehouse Operations and Cycle Counting
  • Maintains a safe work environment.
  • Adheres to quality standards.
  • Effectively communicates with team members & leadership.
  • Experience using mobile equipment to move materials
  • 1 year experience working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
  • Problem solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Support the manufacturing operation by providing accurate/detailed information to inventory, resolve discrepancies and delivery issues.
  • Participate in warehouse/inventory issues with emphasis on building the most efficient combination team to meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare intercompany raw material shipments as requested per established procedures.
  • Perform part number changes as requested per procedure.
  • Maintain all inventory problem buckets and transaction discrepancies that are transacted incorrectly in SAP.
  • Prepare draft work instructions and submit to supervisor and ensure personnel adhere to stabled processes.
  • Maintain documentation to ensure inventory accuracy, customer ratings, error tracking and other departmental goals are met.
  • Assist in special projects and assignments as required.
  • Actively participates in cost reduction, continuous improvement, housekeeping, and team activities.
  • Coordinate finished goods physical inventories and ensure all material systematically in WIP but physically in stockroom. Milk-run locators are returned to stock.
