About The Position

The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for pulling and kitting required materials for customer orders according to the production schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks. This role involves unboxing and stocking PCB panels, which can involve handling 10-30 cartons weighing 20-60 lbs each, requiring regular lifting throughout the day. The clerk will learn to record LED binning information, print "job traveler" paperwork, and navigate the company software, PLEX. Responsibilities also include processing material returns using the Scienscope X-Ray Reel Counter, performing regular cycle counts, and assisting in the receiving process. The role includes learning to receive material as a backup to the Supervisor, understanding internal part numbers and inventory locations over time, and assisting with the overall production process upon request. Additionally, the clerk will operate a pallet jack and a straddle/pallet stacker lift.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent [Required]
  • Full time position Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30 pm [Required]
  • Ability to lift 50-60 lbs. [Required]
  • Reliability [CRITICAL]
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division while using a calculator) [Required]
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment [Required]
  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills, good time management [Required]
  • Excellent communication skills, honest, and dependable [Required]

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of inventory control experience [Preferred]
  • A minimum of 1-2 years working in manufacturing [Preferred]
  • Using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and general computer literacy [Preferred]
  • A knack for problem-solving [Preferred]

Responsibilities

  • Pulling/Kitting the required material for customer orders according to the production schedule, while ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Unboxing cartons of bare PCB panels and stocking – Average delivery of PCB is 10-30 cartons weighing 20-60 lbs. Regular lifting is required throughout the day.
  • Learn how to record the LED binning information for each job.
  • Printing/creating the “job traveler” paperwork packet.
  • Learn how to use and navigate through our company software – PLEX.
  • Processing the return of material to inventory while operating the Scienscope X-Ray Reel Counter machine.
  • Performing cycle counts regularly.
  • Assisting where needed in our receiving process.
  • Learning how to receive material as a back up to the Supervisor.
  • Learn and understand internal part numbers and inventory locations over time.
  • Assisting where needed with the overall production process upon request.
  • Operate a pallet jack and straddle/pallet stacker lift.
