About The Position

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business. The Inventory Clerk accurately counts bulk merchandise in primary warehouse locations and performs appropriate adjustments on inventory levels. They must be able to operate a cherry picker or dock stocker with at least 2 years of experience. Previous RF wearable device experience is preferred. The role involves researching discrepancies related to inventory levels, requesting return authorizations, pulling product, and packaging and shipping returns and recalls. Additionally, the Inventory Clerk provides internal and external customer support, assists with physical inventory, and develops and implements new processes and procedures when necessary. They support the Inventory Department with tasks such as placing purchase orders, writing narcotic blanks, monitoring service levels, and breaking down deals. Compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules, and DEA regulations is required. The position may require overtime and participation in physical inventory. Related duties are performed as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be able to operate a cherry picker or dock stocker, with at least 2 years experience
  • Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Normally requires less than one (1) year of equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong product knowledge
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good mathematical skill
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs occasionally
