Our in-house calibration labs, certified to ISO-17025 and ANSI Z540.1, support a variety of test standards including ASTM E74, ISO-376, and many others. Maintains timely records of materials in inventory and kitting of orders. Monitors and initiates action to replenish stock. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
  • Database management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
  • Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
  • Knowledge of company invoicing procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
  • Performs physical count of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
  • Processes and documents return as required following established procedures.
  • Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, and assisting in resolving issues.
  • May lead, guide, and train other employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work; may participate in the recruitment of volunteers, as appropriate to the area of operation.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
