About The Position

Receive, pick and count inventory accurately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must have strong basic computer and typing skills
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general information pertaining to the job.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, and be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and other employees.
• Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Must have the ability to apply information and variables learned from one task or project to other similar situations.
• Must determine how information is interpreted on the production floor
• Observes safety and security procedures
• Reports potentially unsafe conditions
• Uses equipment and materials properly

Nice To Haves

• 1 year Inventory experience in manufacturing setting

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts.
• Investigate on-hand discrepancies.
• Pick items to sales orders.
• Create packing lists.
• Apply freight charges.
• Make transfer, counting and profit & loss journals.
• Make custom papers for sales order out of the country.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
