About The Position

The Inventory Clerk supports the day-to-day inventory and stockroom operations for the Corporate Dining team. This position is responsible for receiving deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing storage areas, and ensuring all food, beverage, and operational supplies are properly stocked and available to support daily dining operations. The Inventory Clerk works closely with culinary, purchasing, and operations teams to maintain inventory accuracy, product quality, and a clean, organized stockroom environment.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
  • Customer service is a must
  • Cashier experience is a must
  • Ability to interact with co-workers in order to ensure compliance with company service standards
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
  • Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds, up and down stairs/ramps
  • Must be able to stand for extended hours
  • Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including standing, constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
  • Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services
  • Practice safe work habits, follow safety policies, procedures, and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any addition job specific safety training
  • Reliable transportation is a must

Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect food, beverage, and operational supply deliveries to ensure products arrive on time, in proper condition, and match purchase orders.
  • Verify quantities, product quality, expiration dates, and delivery documentation upon receipt.
  • Stock and organize inventory in designated storage areas, including dry storage, refrigerated, and frozen locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and enter receiving data into inventory management systems as required.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock items, shortages, or product discrepancies.
  • Rotate inventory using First In, First Out (FIFO) procedures to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment that complies with food safety and company standards.
  • Assist with issuing products and supplies to culinary and front-of-house teams as needed.
  • Identify and report damaged, expired, or unusable products and coordinate proper disposal or replacement.
  • Support receiving and storage procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and food safety regulations.
  • Assist with special projects, event inventory preparation, and operational support as assigned.
