About The Position

At CJ Logistics, we seek a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Clerk to join our team and keep our inventory running like clockwork! Pay Range: $21.00-$23.00 per hour + $0.75 shift differential Schedule: 2A - Tuesday thru Saturday 3:30pm to 12:00am or 2B - Sunday thru Thursday 3:30pm to 12:00am

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Attention to Detail: You can spot a missing item from a mile away and have the patience to handle even the most minor discrepancies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Problem-Solving Skills: You possess critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve work-related issues effectively.
Experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with AS400 and/or warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

Organize, monitor, and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations, ensuring everything is in its rightful place.
Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations for aisle, inbound, and outbound inventory, maintaining precise stock levels.
Track and update product movement, identifying and correcting inventory discrepancies to ensure accuracy at all times.
Investigate recurring inventory issues and work to determine the root cause, helping prevent future discrepancies.
Properly manage inventory at varying status levels (e.g., on-hand, on-order, damaged) and ensure proper handling for each.
Operate a Sit-Down Forklift to assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and other warehouse tasks as needed.
Work alongside customers, receiving, and sales teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
Tackle additional tasks as they come up.
