About The Position

This role is responsible for monitoring, ordering, stocking, and transporting supplies and/or equipment for the organization. The Inventory Clerk ensures timely delivery of stock/inventory as needed, maintains storeroom inventory levels, and manages the timely removal of expired products. This position also involves investigating and troubleshooting inventory issues, maintaining accurate tracking records, and minimizing stock expiration by adhering to stock rotation guidelines and best practices. Additionally, the role requires engaging customers regularly to ensure good service, which involves professional interaction with clinicians, administrators, colleagues, and vendors.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Monitor, order, stock, and transport supplies and/or equipment for the organization.
Ensure timely delivery of stock/inventory as needed.
Maintain storeroom inventory levels and timely removal of expired products.
Investigate and troubleshoot inventory issues/problems.
Maintain accurate tracking records for inventory.
Ensure stock expiration is minimized with adherence to stock rotation guidelines and best practices.
Engage customers on a regular basis to ensure good service. This requires professional presence to effectively interact with clinicians, administrators, colleagues, and vendors.
