As an Inventory Clerk in the cannabis industry, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory processes, ensuring accurate tracking of cannabis products and supplies, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the cannabis industry preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Knowledge of state and local regulations pertaining to the storage, handling, and transportation of cannabis products.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of quality control principles and experience with quality control checks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • A willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, if required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records of cannabis products, including tracking quantities, expiration dates, and strains.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy between records and actual stock levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including retail, processing, and sales, to coordinate inventory movements and fulfill orders efficiently.
  • Assist with the procurement process by monitoring inventory levels, identifying low-stock items, and placing orders with suppliers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area to optimize efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Follow all state and local regulations regarding the storage, handling, and transportation of cannabis products.
  • Perform quality control checks on incoming cannabis products to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation during regular audits and during compliance inspections.
  • Keep up to date with current regulations and best practices in the cannabis industry to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
