About The Position

The Inventory Planning function supports the accuracy, control, and movement of inventory across distribution and warehouse operations. This team is responsible for maintaining inventory integrity, supporting operational continuity, and ensuring materials are available to meet business and customer requirements. This position is based at the Memphis Airways distribution facility in Memphis, Tennessee and is an onsite role. Team members are expected to work on-site to support daily warehouse and inventory operations. Travel is not anticipated for this position. Requirements

  • 3+ years of inventory control, warehouse, distribution, or related operational experience.
  • No minimum education requirement.
  • Experience conducting cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
  • Experience using inventory management, warehouse management, or enterprise resource planning systems to process inventory transactions.
  • Order Picker certification or ability to obtain and maintain required certification.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple inventory-related tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using SAP Enterprise Resource Planning software.
  • Turret truck and reach truck operating experience.
  • Experience generating and analyzing inventory control reports to identify and resolve inventory issues.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting inventory accuracy initiatives within a distribution center or warehouse operation.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to validate inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve inventory variances using warehouse systems and inventory records.
  • Process inventory-related system transactions to support material movements and inventory control activities.
  • Monitor and manage inventory control reports, including expiration, pending purge, stock block, and related inventory status reporting.
  • Create and support transfer orders to facilitate inventory movement across locations and operational areas.
  • Respond to internal and external inventory-related requests and provide timely resolution of issues.
  • Partner with warehouse teams to clear discrepancy areas and maintain inventory compliance standards.
  • Support additional inventory management and control activities as required to meet business needs.
