This position involves a variety of duties related to inventory management, including stocking supplies, preparing and receiving reports, issuing supplies, answering the telephone, operating equipment, and updating inventory records via the computer system (Waterworks). The role operates under very general supervision and may involve independent work or collaboration with other skilled or semi-skilled workers. The position requires the ability to use independent judgment in routine and non-routine situations and to select from multiple procedures and methods to accomplish tasks. Additionally, the role often provides work group leadership, guidance, and training to less experienced staff.
