About The Position

CEVA Logistics is seeking an Inventory Clerk/Cycle Counter for its 1st shift operations. This role is responsible for performing inventory reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and conducting physical inventory counts. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for inventory management and investigating missing items. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year work experience in overall order processing & inventory management, in particular finished goods hardware & order fulfillments.
  • Knowledge of SAP system related to Inventory Control functions.
  • Inventory Control, Purchasing, Supply Chain or related experience.
  • Moderate Excel skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
  • Accurate typing skills and/or data entry.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and write basic correspondence.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.

  • Data analysis and analytics a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Run inventory reports using the WMS program and transfer data to a Count Sheet template and shared network.
  • Print Count Sheets in location sequence.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and enter quantities onto Count Sheets.
  • Record and enter count results into the system.
  • Research inventory discrepancies by cycle counting discrepant items.
  • Run transaction history to identify the last locations that product was stored.
  • Conduct searches of 'Staging' areas.
  • Perform 'Empty' location audits.
  • Record and report the results of the count and audits.
  • Report findings to the department supervisor or designated representative.
  • Assist in other areas such as operations, shipping, and receiving as needed.
