About The Position

The Coordinator Inventory Management is responsible for tracking and managing inventory accuracy of products. This job processes returns and recalls related to distributed products and fills out necessary paperwork as needed. The Coordinator, Inventory Management plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are filled on time and accurately. This job tracks the financial impact of inventory levels and frequently communicates cross functionally with internal teams.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to support accurate documentation (preferred).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong dedication to providing high-quality customer support.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (preferred).
  • Ability to be a strong team player, collaborating effectively while also working independently as needed.
  • Ability to stand, walk long distances, bend, and routinely lift or move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Customer/vendor credentialing is required (this may include vaccinations).
  • Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
  • Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
  • Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
  • Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
  • Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
  • Adheres to all quality guidelines
  • Works under moderate degree of supervision
  • Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inventory management and replenishment of medical and surgical supplies across assigned locations.
  • Receive and verify incoming supply orders against shipment and receiving reports.
  • Utilize Pyxis and CIMs systems to restock inventory and conduct inventory tracking functions.
  • Maintain stock locations, including inventory rotation, expiration monitoring, product recall management, and overall organization and cleanliness.
  • Monitor inventory levels and respond with urgency to low stock or quality concerns.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical nurse managers, logistics teams, and nursing staff to support operational needs.
  • Safely lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull loads of up to 200 pounds.
  • Maintain flexibility to work overtime as needed, including on short notice.
