About The Position

Our Louisville Distribution Hub is growing and we need talented individuals to join our team. If you are an experienced logistics or warehousing professional, we want YOU! Our warehouse culture is like no other, we provide hosted lunch once a week, and our Culture Club plans employee appreciation events year-round. We’re looking for an Inventory Associate to join the team in our Louisville Distribution Hub. The Inventory Associate will ensure inventory is stocked properly; safely, and is in the correct location, labeled properly, etc. The individual will perform all related transactions into our systems to account for all equipment staging, receipt and transfer activities.

Requirements

  • MUST LIVE LOCALLY
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT
  • THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND BASIC ENGLISH
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months or more of Warehouse Inventory experience, including knowledge of inventory managements systems
  • Demonstrated sense of accountability, problem resolution and be able to maintain a high level of integrity and honesty
  • Excellent attendance/punctuality
  • Ability to work overtime, as required
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both a written and oral form with a diversity of individuals in multiple functional areas
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Technical aptitude including the ability to operate basic PC systems
  • Some experience with Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

  • Use bar code wands, laser scanning equipment, and some computer applications to read, store, query, route, and track data
  • Ensure product is used observing FIFO rules
  • Perform scheduled cycle counts and participate in or coordinate yearly physical inventories
  • Work with the Quality Department to ensure damaged product is accurately captured and removed from inventory
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled audits of production kits to ensure count integrity
  • Assist operations manager in all reporting of metrics related to cycle count, prepare reports, and presentation to senior management
  • Manage the min/max inventory levels between facilities according to product demand
  • Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack when needed
  • Performs other duties as required to meet business needs
