About The Position

This position is responsible for accounting for inventory as well as transferring or replenishing inventory in the warehouse. This position may also be responsible for receiving inventory and sending inventory to retail locations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Math Skills: Inventory associates will be using basic math to add inventory.
  • Ability to perform work accurately, thoroughly, and timely.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and perform multiple tasks and duties at the same time.
  • Understands, follows, and enforces the Supply Chain Philosophy. Has a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.
  • Dependable, Deadline-Oriented, Time Management Skills, Safety Awareness, maintain professionalism at all times in the Distribution Center.
  • Career driven with a desire to grow with the company.
  • Maintains a positive attitude, is goal driven and focused on the betterment and overall strategic picture of the organization. A good team player with the ability to take direction and follow through on tasks.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality as required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Applicants must provide information for export control screening, which will be reviewed for compliance.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of LISA WMS, Microsoft Office, and Motorola handheld scanners a plus.
  • Working knowledge of pallet jack and/or forklift certified a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Managing stock and inventory control.
  • Ensuring accurate cycle counting, reporting, stock withdrawal generation and training while maintaining inventory integrity.
  • Storing and inventory of products when required.
  • Reading orders to ascertain description sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
  • Identifying product discrepancies and proactively resolving issues regarding them.
  • Accurately verifying that all piece counts on Purchase Orders, Packing slips and the actual product match.
  • Performing tasks related to shipping and transportation of orders; performing all functions of cargo handling including, but not limited to processing, loading, and off-loading freight.
  • Building and breaking down cargo containers and pallets using necessary equipment.
  • Sorting, dimensionalizing and labeling freight using necessary equipment.
  • Participating in the 5S Program.
  • Understanding, following, and enforcing the Supply Chain Philosophy. Having a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.
  • Ensuring the security of the property by adhering to protection and access policies and procedures and lock up procedures.
  • Adhering to SOP.
  • Offloading freight and receiving inventory.
  • Picking store allocations for inventory being transferred to retail locations.
  • Performing all other duties, as assigned.
