About The Position

Reporting to the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Associate I position is responsible to support the management and coordination of inventory controls and logistics throughout the entire supply chain process from procurement to internal handling for production to final shipping to customers. This position supports the Senior Supervisors and Lead’s efforts and works collaboratively with all aspects of Operations and Sales creating effective strategies to optimize inventory controls.   The identification of Essential Job Function does not display an exhaustive list of all duties that may be assigned to this position, nor does it restrict the related work that may be assigned to this position. Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Business, Accounting or associated field preferred
  • 0-2 years’ experience in relevant experience
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP)
  • The Inventory Associate I will be trained to the basic requirements of 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO13485:2016 which are translated into the Standard Operating Procedures and the Work Instructions and Forms that apply to his / her assignments.
  • The Inventory Associate I will be trained to the training SOP-622-01 and QF-622-03.
  • Delegate will train the Inventory Associate I so that he or she knows how to locate the current revisions of applicable (see Training Matrix) Procedures, Forms, and Service Manuals that govern his / her work.
  • Ability to maintain an elevated level of accuracy in preparing and entering data.
  • Superb time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet regular and frequent deadlines.

  • Must demonstrate sound work ethic, flexibility, respectfulness, honesty, and trustworthiness.

  • Ability to sit continuously for over 3/4 of normal work shift, and stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms for at least 1/4 of the normal work shift.
  • Ability to climb stairs.
  • Ability to talk or hear continuously.
  • Ability to see clearly to do all work-related tasks (clear or corrected vision at 20 inches or less).
  • Finger dexterity is required frequently for over 3/4 of the normal work shift.
  • May be required to work overtime when approved.
  • Driving record that is insurable

Nice To Haves

  • Medical device experience, highly preferred.
  • Experience in a scientific or medical manufacturing setting, highly preferred
  • Experience in GLP/GMP environment, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensures and inspects that product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
  • Understands harvesting and breakdown with electronic parts
  • Places orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
  • Works with warehouse to set up and layout efficient space utilization
  • Follows well defined procedures as outlined by Best Practices, creates and follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and work instructions
  • Embraces Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies
  • Accesses and utilizes Quality team’s expertise and direction as needed to comply with GMP, if needed
  • Assists with data collection, report generation and site metric development in support of contractual obligations and best practice methodologies
  • Analyzes data to anticipate future needs
  • Works effectively with a diverse cross-functional team
  • Collaborates with all Avante employees to ensure business goals are met
  • Identifies change in processes and offers applications and solutions to promote optimal efficiency as Avante continues to grow
  • Works professionally and efficiently with all level within the organization
  • Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices
  • Performs other duties as assigned
